Sonic and the Trans Formers - Chapiter 1 Part 2

Borf and his warriors along with Robotnik aboard his flying hovercraft began their attack on the Institute of Future Technology scaring off the workers, bosses and security staff including Emmett Brown and his secretary Heather (portrayed by Darlene Vogel) who ran in fear-terror then watched helplessly as the Decepticons began draining all the power from the complex then filling 3-D containers with the sources before pressing them down into glowing-humming cubes.

Doc Brown: What in blazes?!

Heather: What did those invaders create?

Doc Brown: I’ve never seen anything like it before.

Heather: Wait, I hear vehicles approaching. <turns to look> Where did those cars and trucks come from?

Doc Brown: Great Scott! <exclaims in shock at what he sees happening>

Before his eyes and that of his secretary the cars and trucks began to change into human people. Then a familiar blue hedgehog jumped to the ground and poised briefly ready to fight, a look of angry determination on his face. Emmett recognized him.

Doc Brown: It’s Sonic Hedgehog! <excited> And that’s Tails and Knuckles. <recognizes the other two mutants>

Heather: All right! They will stop those invaders from attacking our Institute.

At the same time the Decepticons stood looking over their creation including Robotnik who also could not believe what he just saw before his eyes.

Robotnik: Amazing, they did create Energon cubes like Mega Mind said so.

Tryax: <excited> We did it, we did it! The energy is ours, we can go back to 2029 and rule the universe.

Borf: You idiot. This is but a small fraction of the energy we need. We must suck this planet dry.

Upon hearing those chilling words spoken, Emmett passed out into a dead faint as did Heather. Tom and Maggie saw their friends in danger and ran to help them leaving Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to help the Autobots save the Institute from being destroyed. Tryax Kahn sensed another presence close by, turned to see who it was and panicked.

Tryax: It’s the Autobots!

Robotnik: Good grief! <quotes Charlie Brown> Not here, not right now. <starts to arm his weapons> Must stop them from preventing my friend’s quest.

That’s when a familiar voice got his attention.

Sonic: YO, Egg Man! Still up to your evil deeds as always.

Robotnik: Not you again. <glares> Prepare to be destroyed hedgehog. <then sneers>

He sent forth his egg-drones and insect-drones to engage the fastest thing alive who immediately began running about occasionally lashing out with kicks and punches taking out the machines with Tails blasting away with his laser pistol scoring direct hits on the drones and Knuckles punching away with his spike gloves. Borf hearing the commotion spun around, saw who it was and got angry.

Borf: Decepticons, destroy them. <fires his fusion cannon>

Ace: Autobots, engage the enemy but try not to destroy anything. <shoots back with laser pistol>

Meanwhile...

Maggie: Heather, Emmett. Wake up.

Heather: What’s going on here?

Tom: Those grays attacking your Institute are called Decepticons from another Earth in a different time period.

Doc Brown: What-the? What do they want with my Institute?

Tom: Borf, that blue one <points him out> wants to steal resources from our world then use it to conquer Earth in 2029.

Doc Brown: Great Scott...another Earth in 2029? <almost faints again>

Maggie: Hold on, Doc. <gives him smelling salts> No need to pass out right now.

Doc Brown: Then who’s that scientist? <indicates the bald headed doctor aboard his hovercraft>

Tom: Ivo Robotnik who wants to force humanity into serving his so-called Empire. Of course it’s Sonic Hedgehog who keeps thwarting his evil plans.

Heather: Go Sonic, save the day.

Meanwhile the battle raged between the Autobots and Decepticons as the humans and grays shot at each other as if playing a deadly game of laser tag so to speak. The Terminators also tried taking out the magic humans but were easily dispatched by Team Sonic as Sonic and Knuckles used their fists and feet knocking down the 800 and 850 units and Tails zipping about scoring hits on the machines with his laser gun like a pro that he was. Robotnik watching all this did not know what to do, whether or not to help his friends or stay out of the fighting.

Robotnik: I think I’ll be going now, Borf probably doesn’t need my help for the moment, so...asta-la-vista, baby! <mockingly taunts Sonic and flips him off> I’ll be back. <zooms away laughing>

Sonic: Get out of here you bully! <shouts at his departing figure>

Knuckles: That’s the last of the Terminators for now.

Tails: Yeah, we showed those machines a thing or two. <all three do the fist bump>

Ace and Borf were now trading punches like Ali and Tyson in the boxing ring.

Borf: Don’t interfere in my quest, Ace.

Ace: Give it up, Borf. I will not let you conquer my world and force everybody to serve you.

Borf: Ha, that’s what you think.

Ace: No way...

All of a sudden a spinning blue ball came out of nowhere glowing brightly and slammed full tilt into Borf sending him staggering backwards with arms flailing wildly to keep from falling down. It was Sonic doing his special move of course. Then Knuckles came flying in to land a double fist punch into the Decepticon leader’s weak spot causing Borf to gasp in shock then cry out in pain as he fell to the ground clutching at his anatomy so to speak. Drakken, Crystal, Amber, Mega Mind, Tryax stared in wide-eyed shock at what just happened to their leader as did Ace, Kimberly, Kim Possible, Duke, Don and Cindy. Even Tom, Maggie, Emmett and Heather saw the same thing.

Tom: He just sucker punched him in the balls.

Heather: Uh-oh, that’s got to hurt.

Maggie: Way to go Knuckles.

Doc Brown: Whoa-ho! <whoops it up> Even Sonic too stunned him with his specialty move.

That’s when Drakken the twin brother to Borf shouted.

Drakken: No one does that to my brother, insult his honor or hurt him like that! <to the others> Retreat to base and take the Energon cubes with you!

One by one the Decepticons vanished like ghosts until they were gone. Moments later the Autobots used their magic restoring power back into the complex of buildings until the I-F-T was up and running again in no time.

Heather: Whoever you are, thank you for saving our lives and the Institute.

Doc Brown: Yes, I owe you big time.

Ace: You’re welcome. We come from Earth in 2029 where my world is devastated by war-games conflict between myself and Borf who seeks to rule the planet.

Doc Brown: Was that the one Knuckles punched in the balls? <Knuckles nods and leers>

Ace: Yes, the leader of the Decepticons. The ones who want to steal resources from this Earth in 2022 to rule the universe.

Heather: Good grief! <quotes Charlie Brown> How can we stop them?

Kimberly: If you want to help us, we would be honored to make you our allies.

Tails: Hell-yeah, Team Sonic and the Autobots saving the universe.

Sonic: You got it partner.

Tom: Would you like to see the Institute?

Kimberly: Of course.

Doc Brown: In that case, allow me to show you around.

He did just that in a matter of speaking by giving a tour of the I-F-T showing off his many inventions and what they were used for including his time traveling DeLorean D-M-C sports car revealing how it was possible to cross the space-time continuum to witness events yet to come in the future or return to the past to relive events of long ago.

Doc Brown: So what do you think?

Cindy: I liked everything. All those inventions and how they function.

Don: So you can travel through time.

Heather: Indeed but remember you are only a visitor or tourist witnessing history. Never tamper with or mess with history already recorded.

Doc Brown: Otherwise you risk creating paradoxes that would destroy the timeline itself.

Kim: We would never do that.

Duke: No, since it is our destiny to save the universe from being destroyed.

Maggie: Hopefully those grays do not come back to this place again.

Doc Brown: I definitely hope not! <looks angry>

Heather: Me too.

Sonic: I don’t think they will dare come here again, not after what Knuckles did to Borf. <the echidna winks>

Ace: <laughs> I can still see the look on Borf’s face when you slugged him in his balls or groin.

That made everyone laugh in good humor. In the meantime the Decepticons inside their invisible fortress were recovering from the brawl with the Autobots. Borf himself was in bed recovering from being punched in the balls by Knuckles and hit in the face by Sonic and he was not too happy about that.

Borf: Those foolish mortals will pay dearly for insulting my honor like that.

Drakken: I know, sorry I was not able to prevent that echidna from slugging you.

Borf: No problem, bro. I will have my revenge soon enough.

Drakken: Of course, brother.

Robotnik: So when do you intend on stealing again?

Borf: Not now, my horde and I need to rest for awhile then we’ll decide where to strike next.

Robotnik: Of course, my lord. <half bows> If you need me, I’ll be in my office so to speak. <walks out of the chamber>

As the scientist left he muttered angrily to himself.

Robotnik: I’ll get you yet, Sonic. Just you wait, you have not yet seen the last of Ivo Robotnik...vengeance will be mine.

Back at Green Hills...Ace and company were wandering around the town’s Main Street district exploring the shops-stores-restaurants-bar/lounges-post office-movie theater-barber shop and other businesses up and down the street. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were with them of course since the people of Green Hills had already known about the anthropomorphic visitors from the stars and how they saved the town from being destroyed by Robotnik’s Death Egg Mech too. Now the Autobots were having lunch in a public park with Maggie, Tom, Knuckles, Tails and Sonic watching people coming and going, ducks, geese swimming about in the manmade lakes or waddling about looking for hand-outs, children playing on playground equipment, etc.

Kim: This reminds me of the same parks on our world. Long before Judgement Day changed all that.

Tails: When the missiles rained down on cities of America.

Cindy: Exactly. Then Borf and his Decepticons and the Sky-Net forces began massacring innocent people or capturing them to be used as hostage slaves.

Sonic: Sorry to hear that. But we can and will defeat your enemy.

Ace: That we will, I guarantee it.

Tom: What would happen if Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were able to transform like you guys and gals.

When he said that, Maggie, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles gave surprised looks.

Tails: Huh, us transform into vehicles?

Kimberly: I bet you could do that. That way when going into battle not even Borf or Robotnik would recognize your new disguises.

Knuckles: Hmmm...that does sound like fun.

Duke: Would take lots of practice to learn how to transform into vehicles like us then back to normal selves.

Sonic: I wonder what I would transform into.

Maggie: I can almost see it right now. <laughs> Sonic transforming into a...<puzzled look> what would he become?

Don: I know! <everyone looks at him> I know what you could change yourselves into.

The swords expert then showed hologram visions of monster trucks and sled pulling trucks until Team Sonic made their choices so to speak picking out the following...Sonic as the Big-Foot monster truck, Tails as the Orange Blossom Special sled pulling truck, Knuckles as the Black Gold sled pulling truck.

Ace: Now to give you magic powers like we use, not unlike the powers you already possess within yourselves.

He then cast a Harry Potter style spell-charm as a mist-like halo formed about the anthropomorphic warriors then disappeared inside their bodies leaving a tingling-tickling feeling for a brief moment.

Tails: Whoa, that tickled. <laughs> Okay, let’s see if I can transform.

The great inventor focused his mind on visualizing the disguise mode of the Orange Blossom Special then began to glow-shimmer as his body began to alter shape-form and appeared to grow big as his hands and feet became tires-wheels, his entire body taking on the form of the 2-wheel drive truck until in the blink of an eye...

Tails: I did it! <excitement in his voice> Look at me, I’m a truck.

Sonic: Way to go, partner.

Tom: Good going Tails.

Maggie: Okay, you’re turn Sonic.

Sonic: Here goes nothing.

Then he too glowed in the same manner and his entire body changed shape-form from hedgehog mutant into the Big-Foot monster truck just like that.

Sonic: Holy cow! Me, Big-Foot, King of the Monster Trucks.

Knuckles: Ha-ha, very funny.

Then the echidna guardian transformed himself into the 4-wheel drive sled pulling Black Gold truck.

Knuckles: Hey-hey-hey! <quotes Fat Albert> Not bad.

Maggie: I got to get a picture of this. <takes out her digital camera> Pose...<presses button>

Tom: Awesome.

Kimberly: Now use the same powers to return to your normal self.

Within seconds Team Sonic were back to normal looking anthropomorphic people again.

Kim: That’s how you do it.

Cindy: Well done new recruits.

Sonic: What about Tom and Maggie?

Tom & Maggie: Oh, no...hold on, not us.

Sonic: Why not?

Tom: I would probably look ridiculous turning myself into a car or truck.

Maggie: We’ll think on it then let you know.

Sonic: Okay...<shrugs>

Afterwards everybody made their way back to the Wacowski home where the Autobots said goodbye to their friends promising to come again soon then transformed into vehicle modes and drove away back to their headquarters in the woods outside of town. Back inside Decepticon headquarters...

Borf: I’d better check on my spaceship to see how work is being done, whether or not it is finished with repairs.

He did just that observing his spaceship being serviced by the Terminators as the machines toiled away nonstop. Nearby were the Hunter Killer tanks and aerial units offline for the moment until needed of course. Borf received confirmation from Sky-Net that the work was in progress and continuing along smoothly, that his ship would be ready to fly again. However, Sky-Net pointed out that the power system was not yet complete.

Borf: What? What do you mean it is not complete?

Sky-Net: That’s what I said, sir. <sounding like a butler> The ion-drive seems to be malfunctioning at the moment, perhaps you should perform tests on it to make sure it runs normal.

Borf: Thanks, I’ll look into that.

Sky-Net: Of course, Master Borf.

The Decepticon leader sent for Mega-Mind and Tryax Kahn to discuss this problem. Simultaneously Ace sensed something was happening in the magic, that his adversary was up to something else. So he dispatched Don Davis his twin brother and 2nd in Command to infiltrate enemy home base and figure out what Borf was up to so to speak.

Ace: This way I can ruin-foil whatever plans Borf has in mind.

Don: No sweat, bro. I’ll be back with that info in no time.

Seconds later he was racing away from Autobot HQ en route to Decepticon HQ accompanied of course by Team Sonic volunteering for the mission of course. Tom and Maggie wished their friends good luck, told them to be careful and stay close to Don at all times. Also helping in the spy mission was Deputy Wade Whipple (portrayed by Adam Polly) who after meeting the Autobots for the first time wanted to help these visitors from another Earth in another timeline of the future. So now he was riding inside the Camaro muscle car form of Davis the swords expert.

Wade: Wow, so you guys and gals change into vehicle modes on your world when battling the evil grays.

Don: <Camaro mode> Affirmative. The Decepticons or grays take on the form of fighter jets and attack helicopters.

Wade: Holy cow!

Sonic: Bet you didn’t know that.

Wade: No, I didn’t know that.

Tails: Now the three of us also can transform into vehicles. <Wade is stunned as Tails nods>

Knuckles: Of course it will take some time getting used to morphing back and forth into disguises.

Wade: No kidding.

All of a sudden Davis came to a stop and announced.

Don: We have arrived at Decepticon headquarters, all ashore please. <opens the doors>

But as Team Sonic exited the Camaro as it changed back into Ace’s brother again they appeared confused.

Knuckles: I don’t see anything resembling Decepticon home base.

Tails: Are we in the exact location? <uses his portable computer to scan> Nothing anywhere.

Don: The reason you cannot see Borf’s home base is because it’s hidden within a unseen force field rendering the complex invisible.

Wade: Holy smokes! A invisible terrorist headquarters?

Don: Yes, on our world in 2029 Borf used his force field to hide his headquarters from us but we always managed to see it every time with the magic aiding us.

Now he performed a Harry Potter style spell-charm revealing the glowing force field and started walking towards it. At first Team Sonic and Deputy Whipple hesitated, not knowing if it was safe but when Davis said it would not harm them they followed close behind. Suddenly as they passed through the barrier a tingling-tickling feeling passed through their bodies making Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to laugh-giggle and clutch at themselves while at the same time a rippling-shimmering distortion appeared in the air like a desert mirage. Then it was gone just like that. Looming before the Deputy and Team Sonic was the headquarters fortress of Borf.

Tails: Oh my god...<quotes Joey Stiles of E-C-W>

Knuckles: Whoa...

Sonic: No way...

Wade: What a evil looking building.

Don: Welcome to Decepticon headquarters, home of Borf himself.

Knuckles: Yeah, the one whom I punched in his groin. <leers>

Don: I bet he will want to pay you back for doing that to him. <uneasy look>

Sonic: I got a bad feeling about this.

Don led the way into the fortress with his friends close behind until seconds later after a elevator took them to the top floor level they were peering through a one way mirror-window into the Command Center where they saw Robotnik, Borf, Mega Mind and Tryax having a discussion of some kind.

Wade: Is that Borf?

Don: Yes, the one who wants to enslave humanity on our world.

Knuckles: Can’t wait to hit him again in his weak spot. <grins>

Sonic: Oh, sure. Hope you’ll get lucky next time around.

Don: That is if he doesn’t zap you with the Infanto Ray, the laser gun that shrinks anybody into babies. <Knuckles gasps>

Tails: Oh my god...<quotes Joey Stiles of E-C-W>

Wade: And who’s that bald head alien?

Don: That’s Mega Mind the super genius. He’s Borf’s communications expert and owns two pets, Ravage and Laser-beak.

Sonic: Was that the macaw that shot me? <surprised look as Don nods>

Tails: I can’t seem to hear what they’re saying.

Knuckles: Anyway to turn up the volume?

Davis performed another Harry Potter style spell-charm and moments later this is what they heard.

Borf: Work on repairing my spaceship continues on schedule thanks to the Terminators working nonstop that is. Unfortunately Sky-Net has informed me it will not be completed unless the power system is running normal.

Tryax: It is complete, I worked on it in my spare time. It needs assembling then installing online.

Borf: But it also requires tests done to it making sure it does not continue to malfunction.

Robotnik: Have you come up with a suitable location to carry out the tests?

Mega Mind: Not yet, but I will search for someplace where no one will discover what we are doing.

Tryax: Is our technology that bad we can’t trust our own work! <angry look> If I was calling the shots, the ion-drive would be online and we’d be on our way back to 2029 in no time.

Borf: Unfortunately you do not have your way. <glares at his 2nd in Command> And until then, which is unlikely to occur, you shall continue to follow orders until further notice.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Wade looked shocked then Davis explained everything to them.

Don: Tryax has been secretly plotting to topple Borf from leadership of the Decepticons so he can step in and proclaim himself leader to rule the universe.

Wade: Good grief...<quotes Charlie Brown>

Tails: Sounds like he does not like being bossed around.

Sonic: Who wouldn’t? <shrugs>

Knuckles: Wait, what’s that hologram? The one Mega Mind is showing to his leader. <points it out>

Everyone stared in confusion and puzzlement as Davis brought the illusion in for a closer look then explained what it was.

Don: That’s a space-drive test rig used to test run power systems, like the one Ace uses on his starship. It calculates the power levels of ion and neutron drive systems and whether it’s running smoothly or having problems and needs to be tested out.

Sonic: Wow...never seen something that big.

Don: It’s about sixteen hundred meters long by five meters wide in diameter.

Tails: What are those devices inside the tube?

Wade: Are they used for testing out power systems?

Don: Yes, electromagnetic equipment that checks out all systems to make sure they are in the green light so to speak.

Knuckles: I didn’t know that. <shrugs>

Suddenly the swords expert sensed something was wrong. Getting to his feet he said.

Don: I think we better leave before being discovered. Who knows what will happen if Borf knows we were spying on him.

Wade: Good idea, don’t want to get caught. Otherwise how would Tom bail me out?

Sonic: Want me to bring up rear guard?

Don: Okay, both of you <to Sonic and Knuckles> can watch our backs.

Tails: I’ll take the lead. <Don nods>

Immediately they began retracing their steps back the way they came into the fortress of Borf. At the same time that was happening...

Mega Mind: Boss, I suspect we were being spied upon. I thought I detected another presence listening into our meeting.

Robotnik: What?! <surprised look> Who would dare spy on us.

Borf: <eyes narrow in anger> If it is those interfering mutants, I’ll let them have it with the Infanto Ray.

Tryax: Yeah, shrink them into babies, see how they like it. <sneers>

Borf: <to Mega Mind> Dispatch the Terminators to try and capture the spy or spies before they can escape.

Mega Mind: By your command! <salutes his leader>

Meanwhile...Davis and Tails leading the way with Wade, Sonic and Knuckles bringing up the rear reached the ground floor and were heading towards the main doors when alarms went off. At that same time the Terminator machines came into view leveling their laser guns as they prepared to take out the intruders. Don removed his magic sword from behind his back.

Don: Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready to rumble! <imitates a ring announcer>

Sonic: Hell-yeah! <rushes the machines> Come and get me, if you can.

Knuckles: It’s bashing time!

Tails: I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! <quotes Ali the greatest boxer of all time>

Davis began leaping about slashing and stabbing with his sword cutting down the T-800 and 850 units while also blocking laser shots with his sword too turning them away from himself as Sonic changed into a spinning blue ball and slammed full tilt into the Terminators knocking them down like tenpins in bowling. Knuckles jabbed and straight ahead punches like Tyson or Ali sending the machines sprawling before they could hit him with their guns. Tails zipped about stunning the 800 and 850 units constantly while projecting more illusions of himself to confuse the machines in shooting at the hologram versions rather than the real Tails that is. Wade Whipple unable to do anything went prone, dropping to the floor covering his head with his hands but watching the action unfold around him.

Wade: Holy cow! Wait until I tell Tom about this action. <then remembers> Oh, I have my iPhone. <takes it out and begins shooting video footage and images>

Finally the last Terminators fell lifeless and the friends again took off running out the main doors but continued running as they passed through the invisible force field reaching the other side of the barrier then Davis transformed into Camaro mode, Sonic transformed into the Big-Foot monster truck, Knuckles transformed into the Black Gold 4-wheel drive truck, Tails transformed into the Orange Blossom Special 2-wheel drive truck as Wade climbed into the muscle car then everybody raced away in the nick of time.
