Sonic and the Trans Formers - Chapiter 2 Part 1

Fortunately though, Robotnik managed to escape the explosion and collapse of the railroad tunnel in the nick of time aboard his hovercraft then paused to stare in horror at the destruction caused by the blast.

Robotnik: Holy smokes! Thank goodness I got out of there just in time. I hope Borf and his horde survived that blast. <then> Where did that runaway hopper train come from?

He could not seem to ponder or figure out where that train appeared so suddenly from out of nowhere that is. He scanned for signs of life but found none so far.

Robotnik: I’ll go get my Egg-Bot to use in digging out my friends. <flies away>

A few seconds later a gigantic 10-foot robotic person resembling Egg Man himself stomped towards the collapsed tunnel making the ground shake-tremble then stood motionless for a brief moment then bent down and with its massive arms and hands began gently scooping debris away setting them aside then paused in its work to peer down into the crater it just created as Robotnik’s voice sounded from speakers built into the Egg-Bot.

Robotnik: BORF, CAN YOU HEAR ME?

Moments later a familiar voice answered back.

Borf: No need to shout! I hear you plain enough, doctor.

The blue warlord with black hair-beard-mustache stared upwards at the Egg-Bot with eyes wide at the sight of the gigantic robot person.

Borf: What in blazes?! <eyes go wide>

Robotnik: IT’S OKAY, IT’S ONLY ME. ARE YOU OKAY, YOU NOT HURT?

Borf: Where did you get that robotic machine? <can’t believe his eyes then says> Yes, I’m not hurt. <glares> My beautiful power system is ruined, destroyed.

Robotnik: I THOUGHT I SAW A RUNAWAY TRAIN BARREL HEADLONG INTO THE TUNNEL AS I MADE MY ESCAPE TO SAVE MY OWN LIFE. SORRY TO HEAR IT DESTROYED YOUR SPACE-DRIVE TEST RIG.

Borf: Now I won’t be able to test run another power system. <still glaring> Or if I’ll be able to create another ion-drive device either.

That’s when Ivo said he would do the honors in creating another ion-drive system for the Decepticon leader which surprised Borf who agreed to the idea of having the doctor build another power system for him. Moments later the Egg-Bot evacuated Mega Mind, Drakken, Tryax, Crystal, Amber and Borf out of the rubble of the railroad tunnel then carried the grays back to Decepticon HQ in no time. Borf again asked his friend where he acquired a giant machine like the Egg-Bot to which Robotnik said the following...

Robotnik: After I was possessed by the power of the Master Emerald I used its magic to take apart military vehicles used by GUN as well as a railroad train then combined everything into the machine you see before you. <gestures at the giant>

Borf: Whoa...<can’t believe his eyes> It looks almost like you.

Robotnik: Indeed it does. <evil grin> Bald head, mustache, piercing eyes and such.

Drakken: Isn’t that the Mech-Bot you used to try and defeat Sonic, Tails and Knuckles? <Ivo nods> How were you able to rebuild it?

Robotnik: Well...it took lots of technology and my genius in building machines that is. Anyway, it’s just as powerful as the previous model, well, without the Master Emerald that is.

Mega Mind: What is the Master Emerald?

Ivo told how he and Knuckles located the crystal within a secret temple underwater and when he touched the crystal it seemed to become part of him, that is...it possessed his body making him become super powerful like a God so to speak. When he lost the emerald gemstone due to Knuckles sucker-punching him in the groin that is, one blow from the echidna released the crystal’s hold upon the doctor’s body.

Robotnik: Then it was Sonic being possessed by the Chaos crystals becoming Super Sonic as he destroyed my Egg-Bot disabling it in the process.

Crystal: Chaos crystals?

Again Ivo revealed they were six gemstones of magic properties that he never heard of nor seen himself.

Amber: Guess we go back to stealing resources again but where do we hit our next target?

Tryax: Beats me. <shrugs as he gazes upon the Egg-Bot> Wow...

Borf: We’ll come up with another target soon enough.

Mega Mind: Maybe I could have Sky-Net come up with ideas of where to launch our assaults.

Borf: See to it. <the super genius nods> Then we’ll make our choice.

Robotnik: I dare you to try and stop me again, Sonic. That is, if you can.

In the meantime within Autobot HQ outside Green Hills town limits the magic humans were entertaining Sonic, Tails and Knuckles with stories of pro wrestling, a sport in which pro athletes pretend to beat up one another inside the ring although Sonic had seen that sport on television on occasion with Tom and Maggie who knew all the secrets of how that sport was performed. He knew about who plays the hero or baby face, who plays the villain or heel, how the booker-match maker decides the outcome of each match, who wins and who loses, whether a championship title belt changes hands or is dropped by the champion to the challenger or stays with the champion until next time.

Ace: So you do know a lot about pro wrestling.

Sonic: Sure do. I even told Tails and Knuckles about the sport so they could see for themselves how wrestlers pretend to hurt one another in the ring since the moves are carefully executed to avoid injury of course.

Tails: Yeah, like punches are where wrestlers use open fists making light contact with one another’s head or body, then sell the moves to make them appear real.

Knuckles: And when they bleed, they make light cuts on their heads or faces so it looks like they got injured in combat.

Kimberly: That’s the idea. Or when wrestlers talk to each other setting up the moves known as Calling the Match.

Tails: Yes, but the fans in the stands can’t hear what they’re saying so they don’t know what moves are going to be performed.

Kim: My favorite matches are the Steel Cage brawls.

Knuckles: Oh, that. <eyes wide briefly> Wrestlers try to escape the cage either through the door or climb out to drop to the floor.

Don: Of course the booker decides who wins or loses in those matches. <Knuckles nods>

Cindy: I like the Battle Royals where 10 or 20 wrestlers fight inside the ring and to win, one wrestler must be the last person left standing alone.

Sonic: You never know who’s going to be left alone in the ring when it’s over.

Duke: How about the X-Division matches?

Tails: Oh, cool. Where wrestlers do all those crazy high-flying moves on each other.

Sonic: I like the Ultimate X matches where you try swinging across the cables to pull down the X-Division belt.

Knuckles: I can almost see all three of us doing that. <grins or smirks>

That made everyone laugh in good humor. Moments later the fastest thing alive, great inventor and echidna guardian made their way back to the home of Tom and Maggie Wacowski where they awaited to see what the Decepticons and Robotnik were going to do next in a matter of speaking. Meanwhile it was the Decepticons planning their next strike on a power plant station and dam overlooking Green Hills that supplied electricity to the citizens of that town from river water.

Borf: This looks promising enough. <studies hologram> It says here that the power output has a capacity of one million megawatts.

Mega Mind: Just what we need to create the Energon cubes.

Tryax: Ha, I doubt that’s enough electrical power to even make one or more cubes.

Borf: Your knowledge is overshadowed by your stupidity, Tryax. <Kahn glares at Borf in reply> We are going to create a tidal wave to send enough power into that dam to make all the Energon cubes we need. We attack the dam when I believe the time is right.

Robotnik: And I’ll provide backup in case you need my help. <salutes>

Stone: Me too! <also salutes>

Borf: As you wish.

However this threat to humanity was discovered by Hal-2000 as he warned his creator.

Hal: I sense trouble is about to happen or occur. The Decepticons are about to launch a strike against this dam and power plant. <beams illusions>

Ace: Holy BLEEP! <curses> Many lives will perish should that happen.

Hal: But I do not know if Borf will attack or when...however I will continue monitoring all movements of him and his gang.

Ace: Good. When he does make his move, we will head him off at the pass.

Kimberly: As we always do with our allies.

Ace contacted Tom and Maggie informing them of what was going to happen and both the Sheriff and his wife said they would be standing by and ready to assist when needed.

Sonic: If the dam fails...

Maggie: It will cause flooding that will destroy everything in its path.

Tails: Where is this dam located?

Tom took out a topographic map of Green Hills Montana and surrounding countryside pointing to a icon on the map.

Tom: This is where the dam is located. At its base is the power plant station where workers produce electricity from river water.

Tails: How does it work? <curious>

Maggie: The water from rivers pass through spillway gates of the dam then enter storage tanks about this big. <makes size with her hands> The water is then heated to boiling temperatures.

Tom: Which in turn becomes steam that spins the flywheels of the turbine generators creating electricity.

Sonic: And the Decepticons intend on creating Energon cubes inside the station?

Maggie: That’s what Ace told us. He’s now waiting for confirmation of when Borf makes his move.

Knuckles: I can’t wait to let that blue alien have it again by punching him in the groin. <bangs gloved fists together>

Sonic: Good luck on that score.

Just then Ace’s hologram image appeared like a ghost.

Ace: Borf is on the move. Meet us at headquarters so we can all go together to stop him.

As soon as his ghostly image faded away the Wacowski family, Tails, Sonic and Knuckles drove to Autobot HQ aboard Tom’s patrol car and arrived at the fortress of Ace where familiar cars and trucks were waiting for them. Tom, Maggie, Tails, Sonic and Knuckles climbed into the cab of the Peterbilt 379 semi (Ace in disguise) and the Autobots sped off en route to Green Hills Power Plant station.

At the same time the Decepticons were making their way to the dam overlooking the town of Green Hills but landed at the riverbank not far from the dam.

Borf: So who’s going to stir up some rapids.

Amber: Coming up! <salutes> White caps in no time. <dives into the water>

Reaching the muddy bottom the alien lizard began sending out vibrations that began forming into rapids which sped rapidly towards the spillway flood gates that automatically deployed.

Borf: It’s working, excellent. <evil grin>

Robotnik inside his Egg-Bot with Stone monitoring all systems witnessed the same thing.

Stone: It’s working. Look at those rapids go.

Robotnik: Yes, now the fun begins.

Stone: Hope the dam does not fail.

Robotnik: Oh, do not want that to occur. <pretends to look worried> Would not want innocent lives wiped out or property destroyed. <then laughs> I dare those Autobots to try and stop me now!

Stone: That is if they do, boss.

The alien grays flew towards the power plant station bursting into the facility startling the workers and bosses who froze in terror at the sight of these intruders.

Borf: Greetings from the year 2029. I am here to steal resources of energy to fulfill my destiny so do not interfere with me and you will not be harmed. <sneers>

In response everyone fled the building in a panic running in all directions to get away from these invaders. Meanwhile the Autobots showed up on-site changing into their normal selves.

Ace: We got to work fast, many lives are at stake.

Kimberly: Right, protect the innocent and punish the guilty.

All of a sudden a booming voice called out shocking Ace and company who looked everywhere for its source.

Robotnik: HELLO DOWN THERE, TRYING TO STOP MY FRIEND’S CAUSE, I THINK NOT.

All heads looked up to see a 10-foot robotic-like machine looming above them menacingly with hands on hips posture with a human-like face and mustache.

Robotnik: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY EGG-BOT, ISN’T IT WONDERFUL?

Sonic: Oh, no. <rolls his eyes> Not again. I thought I destroyed that machine.

Robotnik: SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE, SONIC, HE-HE-HE...THIS IS MY NEW MODEL OF THE EGG-BOT THAT YOU DESTROYED. OF COURSE IT DOESN’T HAVE THE POWER SOURCE OF THE MASTER EMERALD, THOUGH. <shrugs>

Knuckles: Hope you didn’t try and steal it again. <glares>

Robotnik: WHAT, YOU ACCUSING ME OF STEALING YOUR PRECIOUS CRYSTAL?! NO WAY, I CAN EASILY DEFEAT YOU WITHOUT IT, HA!

Suddenly hatches opened on the torso of the machine as miniature egg drones and insect drones came flying out to attack the Autobots and friends. Ace, Kimberly, Kim, Don, Cindy, Duke began firing away with their laser rifles and pistols taking out the machines as Tom and Maggie took cover to avoid being attacked themselves. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles took out the drones with ease and skill. Ivo laughed evilly then recalled the drones ordering them to disengage to which they flew back into the compartments on the robot’s torso again. Now he began firing laser beams from the robotic fingers trying to take out the opposition but the Autobots evaded the beams fired at them shooting back in return.

Ace: We can’t keep this up. We need to intercept Borf and his horde before they attack the power plant.

Duke: That is if they’ve already begun their assault.

As though the scientist heard Nukem say that, he replied with evil glee.

Robotnik: YES, MY FRIENDS ARE ATTACKING THE POWER PLANT CREATING MORE ENERGON CUBES, TRY AND STOP THEM IF YOU CAN.

He went to attack the Autobots again but Ace and company were already on their way to stop Borf and his horde with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles following them as Sonic taunted the scientist.

Sonic: Sorry I got to run and help my friends, Egg-Man. Maybe another time I’ll enjoy destroying your machines.

Robotnik: HAVE IT YOUR WAY, SONIC. <flips him off> BUT NEXT TIME, I WILL BE THE WINNER.

He then laughed evilly as he watched the fastest thing alive disappear from view following his friends. Then he noticed something happening at the riverbank.

Robotnik: EH, WHAT NOW?

What he saw was Duke Nukem looking down at the swirling rapids as if pondering something. Robotnik gasped in surprise as the alien buster dove into the waters realizing what was going to happen.

Robotnik: NO, I CAN’T WARN AMBER THAT HE’S ABOUT TO BE ATTACKED.

Nukem swam down towards the bottom of the riverbank where he saw Amber stirring up trouble as usual. As he closed in to stop the lizard creature it was Amber sensing his approach, whirled to confront him and they began fighting underwater. Tom and Maggie then saw the dam showing signs of failure.

Maggie: Oh, no. The dam’s going to fail!

Tom: Good grief! <quotes Charlie Brown>

Then they saw Kim Possible flying towards the dam as the secret agent called upon her magic to seal up micro-cracks that were spreading across its face.

Kim: Oh, no you don’t. I’m not letting a disaster begin to unfold.

She sent forth beams of energy from her hands spreading quickly over the face of the dam instantly sealing up the cracks before they could join up and start flash flooding to occur. Tom and Maggie cheered Possible as she took a bow in return when suddenly another figure came shooting forth out of the water startling the Sheriff of Green Hills and his wife. It was Amber flying away to rejoin his comrades.

Maggie: Where did he come from?!

Tom: Did he just burst out of the water? <then sees> Duke!

The alien buster appeared at the surface with a look of pain on his face as he began to slip back underwater. Tom dove into the river and swam towards the Autobot military strategist grabbing onto him then helped carry him back to shore as Maggie and Possible helped lift the unconscious Nukem onto dry land again.

Kim: You know CPR?

Maggie: Yes, I was taught that life saving technique in school.

Tom: Let’s do it.

Working together they took turns compressing on the chest then blowing air into the open mouth again and again until Duke regained consciousness again. Robotnik was watching this from inside the Egg-Bot.

Stone: It looks as if they revived him.

Robotnik: So I have noticed. Uh-oh, they’re heading for the power station.

Stone: We can’t even warn Borf.

Robotnik: No, I’m afraid not.

They watched as Duke with Maggie and Tom rushed downhill in the direction of the power plant station where Ace, Kimberly, Don and Cindy, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were preparing to make their assault.

Ace: <makes a joke> What took you so long?

Duke: Got my bell rung by Amber but I’m okay.

Sonic: What happened?

Duke: Amber was stirring up trouble underwater so I attempted to stop her but she got away.

Tails: Oh, that’s not good.

Knuckles: We’re about to rescue hostages.

Kimberly: I scanned the interior of the station, everyone cleared out.

Knuckles: So we don’t have to save anybody. <shrugs>

Kim: I stopped the dam from collapsing.

Tom: We’re all ready.

Maggie: Right!

Ace: Let’s roll! <shouts the battle cry of United Flight 93>

As one the Autobots and their allies stormed into the building running into the Terminator units but easily dispatched the machines with ease. Proceeding further into the main workplace they spotted the Decepticons about to escape with Energon cubes.

Borf: Gather the cubes and return to base.

Sonic: I don’t think so. Get ready for a beat-down courtesy of Team Sonic.

Tails: Hell-yeah!

Knuckles: Stealing is wrong.

Borf: <leers> Try and stop me if you can. <aims the Infanto Ray gun> Maybe I’ll shrink you into babies for the fun of it. <opens fire>

Tails flew out of range then used his computer to generate clone versions of himself to confuse Borf who had no idea which was the real Tails as he blasted away at the clones making them disappear like ghosts. Sonic raced about daring the warlord to hit him as Borf shot at the fastest thing alive getting mad each time he missed.

Borf: Blast it, you pathetic stupid rodent!

Sonic: Hey, that’s a insult to my honor. <glares>

Borf: Oh really...<scowls>

Then without warning he was sucker punched again by Knuckles as the echidna landed a double fist blow to his groin! Gasping in shock and pain the Decepticon leader went sprawling onto his side clutching at his anatomy again.

Knuckles: That’s two times I hit you in the same spot.

Then he went falling to the floor as Drakken nailed him with a direct hit.

Drakken: How dare you hurt my brother! No one does that to Borf.

He was about to zap him again when it was Possible taking him down.

Kim: You’re just as bad or worse at he is.

Tryax, Crystal, Amber and Mega Mind retaliated by shooting away at Team Sonic who held their own against the grays when Duke, Don, Cindy, Kimberly and Ace returned fire with their own guns. As always it was Tom and Maggie trying to stay out of the fighting.
